Petro Poroshenko has confirmed that his son is serving in Donbas. The son of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko voluntarily went to the zone of ATO. Now he commands the artillery unit, the president told CNN.
“We are Ukrainians and ready to fight with danger, aggressor… And these are not only words – my son is also there. He voluntarily went to the ATO and now he commands the artillery unit there. Over the past three weeks four people from his troop were injured,” said Poroshenko.
“This is a very important signal which shows the feelings not only of the president, citizen of Ukraine, but of a father. This is the awareness of danger of this process and importance of bringing peace to these territories,” added the president.
