The Cabinet of Ministers drag out the approval of the decision on introduction of 3G communication, in particular, announcing tender between the operators for the licenses, informed Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Dmytro Shymkiv.
“Unfortunately, we still don’t have the finalized resolution. The Cabinet believes that it should determine the parameters, which were already defined by the law. At the moment, the several months of delay and non-fulfillment of the president’s orders is the Cabinet’s responsibility,” said Shymkiv.
He assured that the operators were ready to participate in the tender long time ago.
As Capital reported, the government does not want to let not only MTS, but also Kyivstar onto the 3G market.
