gas marketState Duma allowed Gazprom to pay for gas transit through Ukraine on the account of debt
The State Duma of Russia has allowed the Russian monopolist Gazprom to pay for gas transit through Ukraine on the account of debt of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
Thus, the Russian deputies passed in the third final reading the bill which brings the Russian regulation in correspondence with the new changes in the law on accountancy. On October 17, they, however, introduced the amendment which allows and gives Gazprom the possibility to pay for gas transit on barter terms.
