Ukraine is ready to adopt the legislative changes required for the participation of the Norwegian companies in tenders for creation of the managing companies of gas transport system and underground gas storage facilities, announced Premier Arseniy Yatsenyuk at the Norwegian-Ukrainian Business Forum in Kyiv.
“If Norwegian companies representing energy sector are ready to invest in Ukraine’s gas transport system, then our parliament will pass the law allowing not only European but also Norwegian companies to invest directly in GTS and UGSF,” he said.
At that, Yatsenuk reminded that Naftogaz of Ukraine and Norwegian Statoil successfully cooperate in the sector of gas supplies.
