Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) a bill denouncing Ukraine’s non-bloc status, the website of the Ukrainian president said on Thursday.
“President Petro Poroshenko has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on amending Ukraine’s laws concerning Ukraine’s abandonment of the non-bloc policy,” the message said.
