The leadership of so-called Donetsk People’s Republic said that DPR would not release prisoners anymore as “Kyiv has not yet provided the lists of captured insurgents”, informed Donetsk Republic News.

“The fact is that we have not received from Kyiv the lists of those people whom Kyiv will release. There is a suspicion that we will free everyone, but Kyiv will try to cheat,” announced acting Minister of the State Security of DPR Leonid Baranov.

Due to this, DPR is not planning to free around 1,000 Ukrainian prisoners.

“Kyiv says that there is around 200-300 of our prisoners. At that, there are no lists with the exact numbers of prisoners as of now. Moreover, around 1,000 of our supporters and civilians are considered missing, but in fact most of them are also prisoners. We are exchanging change over 1,000 Ukrainian servicemen for 300 of ours; we do not want to be the victims of fraud,” explained Baranov.

As Capital reported, today president Petro Poroshenko said that 1,200 Ukrainian law enforcers were released over the last four days.
