The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine dismissed the idea of bringing Belarusian or any other peacekeeping troops into Donbas, said Director of the Information Policy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yevhen Perebiynis.

“We feel that the peacekeeping forces from foreign countries should not be brought into Ukraine. Russia and the terrorists should fulfil the Minsk agreements regarding a ceasefire and the exchange of hostages… Russia should withdraw its armed forces from the territory of Ukraine. We do not need peacekeeping forces in Ukraine. We establish order in our country if foreign forces leave,” said Perebiynis.

As Capital reported, on October 2 President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced his readiness to send peacekeeping forces to Ukraine.
