Ukrainian government sings agreement on cyber security cooperation with Microsoft

The State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine, supervised by the Cabinet of Ministers, and the Ukrainian office of Microsoft (U.S.) have signed an agreement, according to which the corporation will provide the agency with access to source code and technical data on Microsoft software, services and systems (Government Security Program).

According to Microsoft's press release, the agreement will allow the agency to assess the security of Microsoft software and services, as well as their integrity by testing at the Microsoft Transparency Center.

"As a part of the agreement, the corporation will provide urgent data on global cyber threats and sources of network attacks, which will facilitate prevention and response to incidents in digital space under the current challenges to Ukraine," reads the press release.
