Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has urged the international partners not to lift sanctions against Russia for as long as Ukraine does not regain control of the east of the country and Crimea.
"We are asking our international partners not lift sanctions until Ukraine gains control in the east and Crimea. Crimea is and will be a part of Ukraine," he said, speaking at the general debate of the UN General Assembly in New York on Wednesday local time.
Yatseniuk said that sanctions are the path to staring the talks and the key to their efficiency.
