Upon the confirmation of the plane crash of Malaysian Airlines, the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine has completely closed the air space for flights in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and partially in Kharhiv oblast, reported the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. The government has set up a special commission for investigating of the crash, the ministry said.

According to the ministry, international organizations for the safety of air navigation offered help in the determination of causes of the plane crash.

Moreover, the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation also agreed to close all flight routes over the eastern Ukrainian region upon the proposal of Ukraine.

“After the disaster the Ukrainian government informed Eurocontrol about closing the routes at all attitudes over Eastern Ukraine. All trips on these routes will be rejected from now on by Eurocontrol.

“These routes will be closed till further notice,” Eurocontrol reported.

The organization informed that the plane shot down by pro-Russian terrorists was flying on the cleared flight level 330 (around 10,000 m). Earlier the route was closed for the flights of Ukrainian planes on the cleared flight level 320.

The representatives of the aviation administrations of the countries, whose people were on a board of the plane, will be also engaged in the investigation.
