In July foreign exchange reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine decreased by 5.93% or US $1.014 mn. As of July 31, the number amounted to US $16.069 mn, reported the NBU.
In the end of July foreign exchange reserves amounted to US $14.379 mn, reserve position in the IMF – US $0.03, special drawing rights – US $15.39 mn, gold – US $1.675 mn, according to the NBU.
During the period January-July 2014, foreign exchange reserves of the NBU decreased by 21.29% or US $4.346 mn from US $20.416 mn to US $16.07 mn.
As Capital reported, in June foreign exchange reserves of the national bank decreased by 4.56% or US $815 mn, amounting to US $17.083 mn on June 30.
