Sales of the new cars decreased by 61% in July in Ukraine compared with the indicators of the same period the previous year, informed AiF Ukraine with reference to UkrAutoprom press service.
Thus, Ukrainians purchased 7,325 new cars in July, which is 11% more than in June, according to AiF Ukraine.
Overall, 17,119 cars were sold in July 2014, which is 47% less compared with July 2013.
At the same time, this is 27% more than in June.
64,609 cars were sold and registered from January to July in Ukraine, which is 47% less than sales for the same period the previous year, according to UkrAutoprom.
As a reminder, the share of the used cars on the primary market of Ukraine increased from 8.7% in March to 49.5% in June 2014. In April, the share of the used cars amounted to 11.3%, in May – to 30.9%.
