TrendsCoal reserves at TPS in Ukraine decreased by 4.7% within a week
Within the week from August 18 to August 25, coal reserves at thermal power stations of Ukraine decreased by 4.7% or 107,100 t to 2.162 mn t, said Ukrenergo.
Since July 30, coal reserves at TPS decreased by 29.9% or 921,600 t while heating oil – only by 0.9% or 1,000 t, according to Ukrenergo.
As of August 25, 32 coal power units of power generating plants with the capacity of 6.1 GWatt are still operating at TPS, while the total energy coverage at the United Energy Systems of Ukraine reached 18.5 GW, specified the company.
