prospectsTurchynov considers introduction of martial law possible
If settlement of the situation in Donbas by peaceful means does not work, there will be no the other alternative but to introduce martial law, VR Speaker Oleksandr Turchynov said in an interview for Focus magazine.
“If we cannot liberate Donbas by peaceful means, we will not have another alternative but to impose martial law, mobilize the Ukrainian army again and liberate the country from the invaders,” emphasized Turchynov.
At that, if the Russian aggression does not stop, the new sanctions of the West “will lead to the economic collapse of Russia”, he specified.
