45% of voters took part in the elections to the Supreme Councils of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastsopol held by Russia on September 14, reported Crimea Inform with refference to the local exit poll. United Russia party is winning the elections with 70% of votes, according to Crimea Inform.

Also two other parties cleared the electoral threshold: the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia received 9.3% votes and the Communist Party of Russia - 6.6%.

45.3% of voters cast their votes in the “elections” on September 14, according to the election commission of Crimea.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine issued a statement calling the “elections” held by Russia on the territory of Crimea illegitimate, the results void in terms of juridical and legal point of view. Their results will not influence the current status of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol within the frames of the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As a reminder, Crimea and Sevastopol were annexed by Russia in March.
