Director General of the national telecommunication operator Datagroup Oleksandr Danchenko and Director General of Xinwei Telecom Enterpise Group Wang Jing have agreed on the attraction of around US $400 mn investments into the development of the projects in telecommunications and high technology sectors including using 3G communication in Ukraine, reported the press service of Datagroup.

After signing the memorandum of cooperation between Datagroup and Xinwei in Kyiv, the sides have confirmed their agreement at the negotiations in Beijing.

Datagroup, in its turn, will provide all technological solutions.

“We cannot expect all necessary reforms in telecommunications from the Ukrainian government. While the LTE technologies are actively developed in the world, we cannot even solve the problems of issuing a 3G license. Ukraine not only lags behind in its technological development but also looses incomes as it does not have the opportunity to develop the projects on the base of the modern telecommunication solutions,” said Oleksandr Danchenko after the signing memorandum.
