ParliamentDeputies adjusted county borders in Luhansk oblast
The MPs of Ukraine supported the Draft Resolution No. 5115 On Amendments to the Administrative-Territorial System of Luhansk Oblast, Changes and Establishment of the Borders of the Novoaydar and Slovyanoserbsk counties in Luhansk oblast.
According to the resolution, the borders of the Novoaydar and Slovyanoserbsk counties in Luhansk oblast were changed, the territory of the Novoaydar county increased by 30,010 ha. The territory of the Novoaydar county totaled 183,588 ha, of the Slovyanoserbsk county – 82,966 ha, reads the resolution.
The deputies also supported the Draft Resolution No. 5116 On Amendments to the Administrative-Territorial System of Luhansk Oblast, Changes and Establishment of the Borders of the Perevalsk and Popasnyansk counties in Luhansk oblast.
The borders of the Perevalsk and Popasnyansk counties were changed and the territory of the Popasnyansk county increased by 14,174 ha, according to the resolution. The territory of the Perevalsk county totaled 72,255 ha, of the Popasnyansk county – 146,649 ha.
236 of 226 minimum required MPs voted for both resolutions.
