From the beginning of 2014 the volume of the Ukrainian export to the countries of the European Union increased by 20%, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Roman Kachur told the journalists.

“The growth of exports from Ukraine to the EU countries amounts to 20% which indicates operational reorientation of business from the Russian markets,” he emphasized.

The deputy minister also noted that the adoption of the laws on standardization and metrology accelerates the promotion of the Ukrainian goods on the European markets. This allows the Ukrainian companies to accelerate movement to the European standards and reduce the number of the trade and legal barriers.

As Capital reported, for the first eight months Ukraine reduced exports to the countries of the Customs Union by 30%.
