The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada has endorsed the government’s action program, led by Arseniy Yatseniuk, by 269 votes, an Interfax correspondent has reported.

The Ukrainian constitution stipulates that the Rada cannot challenge the government within one year after the endorsement of its action program.

Ukrainian Premier Arseniy Yatseniuk reported that the coalition agreement will be in integral part of the government's action program.

"In our previous version we foresaw that the coalition agreement would be added to the government's action program, we upheld a proposal to state in the preamble of the program that the coalition agreement is an integral part of the Cabinet action program."

He also stated that a decision was taken to introduce amendments to Tax and Budget codes, and a new bill on the state budget by the end of 2014.

Moreover, Yatseniuk reported that a law on land market has been removed from the government's work because of the lack of political consensus.

The coalition consists of Bloc of Petro Poroshenko, People's Front, Samopomich Union, Oleh Liashko Radical Party and Batkivschyna.
