Migration642,400 immigrants from Crimea and Donbas registered in Ukraine
642,400 immigrants from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea and also from the regions of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts were registered in Ukraine, reported the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine on its website.
“As of December 15, 2014, the social protection authorities registered 642,358 immigrants representing 433,395 families from the Donbas and Crimea,” according to the ministry.
The ministry said that monthly targeted assistance to cover living expenses was already assigned to 179,645 families. 83,247 families have already received the compensation in the total amount of UAH 111.3 mn (US $6.73 mn).
As Capital reported, EU and Germany will allocate EUR 7.2 mn to immigrants from Crimea and Donbas.
