tradeRetail turnover in Ukraine fell by 7.5% over 11 months
In Ukraine the turnover of retail enterprises decreased by 7.5% at constant prices over eleven months (January-November) compared with the corresponding period 2013, reported the State Statistics Service.
Thus, in nominal terms retail turnover amounted to UAH 811.057 bn (US $49.07 bn) for the reported period.
According to the State Statistics Service, in November 2014, the turnover of retail enterprises providing food and beverages decreased by 17.9% (UAH 38.035 bn or US $2.3 bn) compared with November 2013, while by 8.7% (UAH 393.236 bn or US $23.79 bn) in January-November against the corresponding period the previous year.
Retail turnover of restaurant business fell by 11.5% to UAH 19.224 bn (US $1.16 bn) over 11 months.
