Nine Ukrainian servicemen were killed and 29 were wounded in the army operation zone over the past day. Ukrainian army positions were shelled 120 times, Ukrainian General Staff spokesman Vladyslav Selezniov said.
«Ukraine lost nine servicemen killed and another 29 wounded and taken to hospital» as result of operations of the militia and their bombardments, he said.
The militia delivered 120 strikes on Ukrainian army positions in more than 30 populated localities over the past day. «The situation was complicated in the Debaltseve sector, where most shelling incidents and attacks were reported,» he said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
A total of 348 servicemen are receiving hospital treatment, and eleven of them are in severe condition, he said.
According to Selezniov, Schastia, Novotroitske, Hranitne and Chornovyk were bombed by the eastern illegal armed formations.
