Abromavičius appointed former Vice Premier of Slovakia as his advisor


Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavičius intends to appoint former Vice Premier of Slovakia Ivan Miklos to the office of his advisor, which was stated at the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada.

“On Monday, I will introduce my new adviser, former Vice Premier of Slovakia Ivan Miklos,” Abromavičius said.

Miklos is a Slovak politician and the former Minister of Finance of Slovakia (2010 – 2012). He previously served as Slovakia’s Minister of Finance from 2002 to 2006 and Deputy Prime Minister for Economy between 1998 and 2002. In 2004, he was named the top business reformer by the World Bank's Doing Business report.

As a reminder, in January Abromavičius introduced another advisor – Managing Director of the Association of Venture Capital Jaanika Merilo.
