TelevisionProviders will lose their licenses for broadcasting Russian TV channels
The National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council has approved a decision to annul the licenses of providers, who illegally broadcast prohibited earlier Russian TV channels through court.
“Taking into account the threats in the informational medium of Ukraine and also due to unsanctioned disconnection of Ukrainian TV channels in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and broadcasting of Russian programs of Russia 1, NTV, TNT, Petersburg 5, Zvezda, Ren TV on their frequencies, the NTRBC has approved a decision at the meeting on July 17, under which sanction of license annulment through a court will be applied to those providers who illegally re-broadcast Russian programs of 1, NTV, TNT, Petersburg 5, Zvezda, Ren TV channels,” reported the regulator.
