The Verkhovna Rada additionally allocated UAH 9 bn (US $730 mn) for the anti-terrorist operation and UAH 2 bn (US $160 mn) for reconstruction of the social sphere of the liberated territories, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said at a briefing.
Funds allocated for the ATO will be spent on cash payments for servicemen, purchase of the new types of weapons, fuel and oil materials and army training for winter, according to Yatsenyuk.
These UAH 11 bn were included into the draft No. 4308a On Amendments to the Law on the National Budget 2014, which, as of today, was approved by the parliament.
