SavingRolling blackouts began in Kyiv oblast
Kyivenergo has started to alternately cut energy supplies to all territories in Kyiv oblast, reported the press service of the company.
«For the attention of consumers in Kyiv oblast, as a result of misbalance between production and consumption of electric power and its shortage in the united energy system of Ukraine and its certain parts, on September 23, 2014 schedules of the emergency outages (limitation to the level of given power) were introduced following the order of the operator of the Central Electric Power System to prevent emergency situations,» said the press service.
According to Kyivenergo, the terms and volumes of power outages will be regulated by the operator of the Central Electric Power System of Ukraine. The schedules of emergency outages were coordinated by the local authorities.
