RefinancingNBU allocated around UAH 3 bn for refinancing of bank
On November 5, 2014 the National Bank of Ukraine has allocated, overall, UAH 2.844 mn (US $200 mn) of refinancing to the banks to support liquidity, reported the press service of NBU.
In particular, NBU allocated UAH 1.903 bn (US $130 mn) for refinancing of 14 banks thanks to holding tender on the support of liquidity. The funds were provided at the weighted average interest rate of 19.74% per annum for 14 days.
In addition, NBU allocated UAH 127.4 mn (US $9 mn) to 7 banks at the weighted average interest rate of 17.50% per year through a permanent refinancing line (overnight loans).
As a reminder, on November 4, NBU allocated UAH 835.5 mn (US $59.05 mn) of overnight loans to support liquidity.
