Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy has ruled out his possible appointment to the future government, but proposed that Horizon Capital Founding Partner and CEO Natalie Jaresko take up the post of Ukraine's first deputy prime minister, informed Interfax-Ukraine.

"Immediately after the elections, I discussed with the president, in the presence of [Prime Minister Arseniy] Yatseniuk, my possible appointment to the government. I clearly said that my present position excludes this... But I propose that the status of first deputy prime minister in the future government be secured by the head of the economic unit and that Jaresko be appointed to this post... Despite the fact that she was born in the United States, she has lived in Ukraine for the past 20 years. She is a true patriot and is well aware of all our realities," Sadovy wrote on his Facebook page on Monday.

As reported, the People's Front and Bloc of Petro Poroshenko factions in parliament have called for the appointment of Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy as Ukraine's first deputy prime minister.

As Capital wrote, the coalition cannot distribute VR committees due to the appetites of Samopomich.
