There is almost no fresh water in the water reservoirs of Crimea, announced former Chairman of Kherson Oblast State Administration Yuriy Odarchenko.
“To date, the government of Crimea is not holding any negotiations with the Ukrainian government. This is critical for Crimea as there is very little of water left at the moment. Crimea cannot compensate for the lack of supplies from Kherson oblast and in many districts of Crimea drinking water is now being supplied by hours,” noted Odarchenko.
The responsibility for the problems of water supplies is on the Crimean occupational government, as the occupation of facilities of the North Crimean Canal on the territory of the autonomous republic has led to disruption of water supplies and put the whole water supply system at risk in the middle of spring, according to Odarchenko.
